"The Slowdown" - Beginner & Family Tour
First, the shuttle takes you to Kufstein to the Kaiserlift. The first adventure begins: the comfortable ride on the single chairlift. Upon arrival at the mountain station (1200m), with a breathtaking view, the hike in the Kaiser Mountains begins. The first destination is the Kaindlhütte (1,293 m) at the foot of the Scheffauer North Face. Afterwards, you will climb the Hochegg (1,477 m) with spectacular views and a viewing platform with a telescope, offering a view from Bavaria over the Inn Valley to the Zillertal Alps. The hike then leads pleasantly downhill to the Kafmaalm. The descent takes you to the Hintersteiner Lake, where you can cool off before the shuttle takes you back.

Registration: until the day before at 5:00 PM online, at a tourism info center of the Wilder Kaiser region, or at the Top Kaiserguides office
Participants: min. 4 persons to max. 12 persons
Equipment: good footwear, drinks, rain protection, possibly bathing clothes
Costs: € 60.00 per person including shuttle & lift | Payment directly to the provider
Duration: from 09:00 AM to approx. 04:00 PM | Walking time about 4h leisurely (350m uphill & 650m downhill)
