If you follow in the footsteps of our hiking guides, you'll visit the original filming locations of various movie and TV productions, including "The Mountain Doctor." Along the way, hear funny stories from the filming at the Wilder Kaiser. This easy to moderately difficult hike first leads through the valley to the Ellmauer Alm, the Kaiserbad, Postbauer, and the Mountain Doctor's practice.
From there, it continues to diverse destinations: the world-famous Rübezahl-Alm, the Ellmauer fruit distillery, and many other unique places in the area - be surprised!

400m altitude gain | 12km | no dogs allowed | Difficulty: easy to moderately difficult | no groups | Children from 6 years old

Registration: until the day before at 17:00 online or at a tourist info center in the Wilder Kaiser region
Participants: minimum 4 people, maximum 30 people | exclusively with Wilder Kaiser Guest Card (available for free to overnight guests in Ellmau, Going, Scheffau, and Söll from their host)
Equipment: hiking gear (good shoes, drink, sun or rain protection)
Cost: € 20.00 for adults and € 10.00 for children (aged 6 to 15) incl. admission to the Mountain Doctor's practice, a culinary treat & a small surprise | Payment directly to the provider
Duration: from 09:00 to approx. 14:00 | Walking time: approx. 4 hours

Cancellations are free up to 14 days before the start of the activity program; afterward, 100% of the costs apply. If the program does not take place, no cancellation fees will apply.
