An experience between heaven and earth

Under the annual theme "Between Heaven and Earth", Sun Summer 2026 invites locals and guests alike to rediscover Hexenwasser and the Hohe Salve. When children explore the Hexenwald forest and waterways barefoot, witch stories come to life and the sky opens up far above the mountains, a journey through nature, time and the cosmos begins.

A day with the witches
The story gondola lift takes visitors up to Hexenwasser, where they are welcomed personally at numerous stations. Young and old alike explore how heaven and earth communicate with each other – through moon phases, weather changes, old farmers' rules and humorous moments of magic. At the reservoirs, you can feel the flow of the water, the nature world tour takes you into the earth, and quiet places invite you to look, listen and breathe deeply. With a little luck, the wandering witch will send all your worries up into the sky in dazzling soap bubbles, and under the giant umbrellas, water droplets will make the singing bowls dance.

The "Hexerei" invites visitors to discover secret corners such as the scent cellar, the witch's workshop or the beHUTsamen stable and learn more about herbs, rituals and the cycles of nature. At the "Simonalm" and "Eilight", everything revolves around eggs: children and adults learn about nature, animals and celestial events in a playful way, observe the egg track and discover the cosmic origin of life. In the craft hut by the fire pit, wood, plants, soapstone and clay are transformed into creative sparks – accompanied by a campfire for baking bread on a stick in summer.

NEW from the beginning of July is the modernised "Sternstunden" gondola lift to the Hohe Salve. At the summit, visitors can enjoy the sundial trail, the Salvenriese and the new sky labyrinth with a walk-in Salven sun. The revolving terrace, the Salven church and the special tranquillity make the Hohe Salve a place of power between heaven and earth.
