Mountain hike through the Wilder Kaiser from north to south

Crossing of the Kaiser Mountains from North to South with a summit experience via the northern ascent to Vordere Goinger Halt

Experience the fascination of imposing rock walls, a summit view extending to the main ridge of the Alps, and the sunny south side of the Wilder Kaiser. From the Griesner Alm, we climb secured via the Eggersteig (A, B) through the “STONE GULLY”, always with a view of the steep, famous rock walls of Fleischbank and Predigtstuhl, where climbing history has been made. At the “ELLMAUER GATE”, the pass over to the south side, we take a short break before we then also secured, in easy climbing passages (1-2), reach the summit of the Vordere Goinger Halt via the northern ascent. Here, the view over the Kitzbühel Alps all the way to the main ridge of the Alps rewards us. We descend southwards to the Wochenbrunner Alm and enjoy the panorama over the Söllandl.

Registration: by the day before 12:00 PM online or at a tourist information center in the Wilder Kaiser region
Participants: min. 4 persons up to max. 6 persons (2 to 3 participants with additional payment possible)
Equipment: good hiking boots, sunglasses, change of clothing, backpack, rain and sun protection, provisions, and at least 1.5 liters of drink
Costs: € 130.00 per person including supervision by a state-certified mountain guide, climbing equipment, helmet, and taxi transfer Ellmau-Griesner Alm as well as Wochenbrunner Alm-Ellmau | Payment in cash directly to the mountain guide
Duration: from 06:45 to about 16:00 | Walking time: 6 hours

Suitable for: Adults, sure-footedness, freedom from vertigo, fitness for about 4 hours of ascent and about 2 hours of descent
Cancellation: after 5:00 PM on Sunday, 100% of the daily price is to be paid
